Hi Beth,
This is Natasha Ritchie and a couple of weeks ago I received the video you sent me... which I really appreciated. I watched it twice and I cried so hard because it is so unbelievable haw many people fall victims to such a dangerous drug. I have watched it with my family. I just wish that there was something that I could do to help because I feel like I should.
Thanks you for creating a video like this and those families who allowed you to share their stories. I think you will be saving a lot of lived. Again thanks so much. I will continue to show the video to anyone who needs to see it, or just to have a listen in on some of the most harmful drugs out there. God Bless you Beth and keep doing what you do best, saving lives!
Sincerly,
Natasha Ritchie
Please let me know when the GHB video is ready. I teach in a small private Catholic High School with a very limited budget per year but this seems to be as good or better than what is available from commercial outlets. I am always looking for things that are not "hockey" or ancient. So many of the video's out there are already outdated by the time they are available so I must be very selective with my limited resources.
Beth, I think that this video is much better than the ones shown in rehab or even in school. Those drug videos are just information about the drugs. But Voice of the Victims shows us really what happens after you take it and what can and most likely will happen to you! It leaves you with a very strong impression and brings it much more "close to home." Matthew, High School Student
Dear Beth, I think the schools should show this movie. It tells the real life stories. You feel like you're part of the family and lost a member yourself. This is a real touching story and I love what it stated. Jessica, High School Student
I think this video is way more realistic than any other movie I have seen in high school/middle school. This movie really teaches good lessons, and it really affects the viewer. I never really knew what was in Ecstasy and what all the effects were until this video, and I learned a lot about other dangerous drugs that I never want to go near because of this video. Jenna, High School Student
Hi Beth, This video was much better than those shown at schools because it actually shows live situations and outcomes with the parents and siblings reactions. School videos just kind of say "Don't do drugs" without thorough detail and reason why not to use them. Jason, High School Student
Dear Beth,
I read your article in the OC Register and have ordered your DVD. I have 2
daughters ages 17 and 20 in Orange County and worry about all the drugs out
there. My 20 year old is a junior in college and in a sorority, and I'm
hoping she will share the video with friends. You are to be commended for
your contribution to society. It is a sad, sad story, and I'm sure the
video has impacted many. Linda Hedemann
Hi Beth, Thank you and everyone involved in getting this information out! My Husband and I showed it to our 11 & 13 year old. We discussed it and I cried and prayed for all the families involved. I also prayed that it leaves a lasting impression on our children and all those other youngsters who will have the opportunity to see it. Thank you especially to Erin, for I am sure that by sharing her story, she has and will save many lives. God Bless, Maria Goossens
Thank you for the videos. Thank you for standing up for all that is good. Your hard work is changing lives. I am so glad you just keep pressing on. May God Richly Bless You. Larry Lockshaw
Hi Beth, WOW! What a powerful message - I showed to all three of my children (ages 7, 11, and 13). I am anxiously awaiting your next DVD as I feel the more info I can provide my children the less likely they will be to make the wrong choices. Thank you for all that you are doing! Jill
Beth, Thank you, I received the DVD's and have already viewed them. Wow....so powerful. Are you a Christian? The hand of God is so evident in your passion for these young people. I know lives will be changed and protected, and parents informed. May God richly bless you for your obedience! Tanya Lloyd
I remember my wife calling me from Vegas and saying, "My sister is dying from Renutrient (GHB) and I don't know what to do." She said, "Remember that drink Allison was getting from the gym, that she thought we should try out because it was so amazing? She's addicted to it. I took her to three rehab centers and no one will help her." I thought how could an over the counter substance be doing that to her and how could the treatment centers be turning her away? Only after seeing the "Voices of Victims" did I realize that there were actually other people with real stories and real tragedies from GHB. I'm not sure I would have ever believed it otherwise. Who in their right mind would believe that this substance was made out of chemicals used in floor polish remover and ink cartridge cleaner? If you have children or family who you care about, you should know what this can do to them. Beware because this substance is hidden under over 80 different product names! Don't be fooled by thinking that your child does not fit the drug using profile, because healthy young people are using this stuff. My sister-in-law wouldn't think of using drugs, and now she's dead! It hurts even more knowing she didn't want to be, that she was liked living and taking care of herself and being with friends. We can't bring her back, but telling her story can help you save someone's live or maybe even your own. Randy T.

Hi Beth, Yes, they're great! I'm using the student one in two Criminal Justice classes on Friday. Please let me know when I can purchase the GHB ones and any others you do! Nancy
Hi Beth, I just received the videos yesterday and wanted to thank you so much. I watched the Parent Edition for the first time last night. What a powerful and informative video! All the hard work you have put into this was evident in that video. Parents will now have a much clearer understanding of the drug use of today's youth. Thanks for making such a huge difference! Take care........ Elise
Dear Laer, To see Beth's vision come to fruition is wonderful. To know that her vision will inspire millions of young adults to not take drugs is a blessing for all humanity. When Beth first approached me with the concept of what she referred to as the "drug video" I could see in her eyes the determination to make this important project a reality. I remember her saying, "If this video saves just one kid, it will have been worth it". Well, one can plainly see that this video indeed will accomplish that goal and a great deal more. I am honored to say I played a small part in making this vision a reality. God bless,
Dear Beth, No matter how much time I spend involved in drug awareness campaigns and as an EMT, I still cry with each Voice of the Victims story when they're replayed. Your videos are the most POWERFUL I have seen to date. I have been there when young people were found comatose and dealt with the stunned parents all too often. It leaves a bigger hole in your soul each time, and it never becomes routine as other emergency calls do. We know when we take the kids out, they are never coming home again. Your work is as powerful as it could be. I anxiously await the GHB segment since GHB addiction is where most of my energy is expended. Gwen DeRupo, Project GHB, Team NJ
Dear Beth, Thank you so much for the video. It was wonderful and brought tears to my eyes. Sara was such a beautiful girl. The video was so impressive and so professionally done. The editing was so well done, too. I can only imagine all the hard work that went into the editing. I like how you kept focusing on the photos, too, when Sara's mom and the others were talking. Great job and I am so impressed with the work you have done on this. This video will definitely reach out to people and get the message across.... Elise
Beth, I saw the movie last night. It is wonderful!!! My daughter and I where taken back with how awesome this piece is. My dad came in at about 3:00 and I showed him Cathy's part. It was so well done that it brought him to tears. I know some of his tears were the feeling of missing her, but when I took a better look, he was smiling and he wanted me to tell you how he thinks this is awesome. As my dad said, "This is better than anything I have seen on TV." Star Isford, Cathy's Sister
Dear Beth and Laer Both Bill and I were impressed with what you have accomplished. Having seen the rough material earlier, it was amazing now to realize what you have created, how you have taken that mass of material and put it together in a way that tells your story in a wrenching way. Our interest did not wane; we were absorbed by it. What a story it is to tell, and how much we hope it will reach others and be beneficial. Youth is so vulnerable. It never occurs to any of them that they could be victimized. It makes me so sad to think of those nice kids' lives destroyed, mostly through no fault of their own (except bad judgment and that only because they were young and inexperienced). Beth, There's nothing else out there like this... and the parents still don't know. Detective Glen Stanley, Expert Rave Club Drugs & Narcotics Detective
Beth, Don't worry about the video being boring. We were glued to the screen, even when we had to blow our noses and wipe our eyes! Rosi Osterday
